The Innovation Hub Management Company is a subsidiary of the Gauteng Growth and Development Agency - the innovation catalyst for the Gauteng City-Region. In late 2025, they issued parallel opportunities: an M&E evaluation of green technology interventions across nine SMMEs, a Digital Transformation Cluster Lead Challenge, and a Demand-Led Open Innovation Call for smart agriculture. Three chances to prove that a small team with the right technology could outperform the usual government contractors.
